About Medicinas Sagradas
We are a two-generation family of healers. We invite people who have specific intentions that they wish to address to confront the parts of themselves that are in pain using the sacred medicines. We base our logical explanations for the work on several models that are quite well developed including:
- Internal Family Systems Therapy
- Autonomic nervous system dysregulation
- Traditional Chinese Medicine
- Hypnotherapy
- Brain wave states and brain entrainment
- Dream Work (which is informed by decades of personal experiences with dreams and dreamwork and various theories regarding dreams – Carl Jung, Robert Moss, etc)
- Shamanic Journeying including soul retrieval
- Energy healing including Reiki and other systems
- Trauma-informed psychotherapy
- German New Medicine
- and more.
Integrative psychotherapy sessions might draw from any of the above psychological models to bring the “felt sense” of the sacred medicine session into the logical realm of the logical mind. We tailor our sessions to help clients integrate their experiences according to a model that resonates with their felt experience during their trip.
We are able to work with clients in person at our facility in Mexico as well as online.
Many of our clients need more than one session with one or more sacred medicines to address the issues that trouble them most and get to the core of the trauma to release it permanently. Some clients also benefit from microdosing between sessions.

Our Location
We are located in Villa del Carbon, about 1 ½ hours northwest of Mexico City. Villa del Carbon is a Pueblo Magico (Magic Town) located in the mountains above Mexico City. We currently have a small facility that includes a temazcal on a quiet piece of land within walking distance of Villa del Carbon.
There are several boutique hotels located in Villa del Carbon where our clients can stay during their time working with us.
